Floor laying

Parquet, laminate and vinyl, plus renovation of old parquet.

Light herringbone parquet in a living room

The floor has a big effect on how a room looks and feels. We lay all the common types of floor covering, renovate old parquet and prepare a proper base so the floor lasts.

What we lay

  • ready-made engineered parquet
  • solid parquet, including laying, sanding and varnishing
  • laminate
  • vinyl flooring
  • wooden and WPC decking for terraces and balconies

The base

A good floor needs a flat, dry base. We level uneven floors and, where needed, lay a dry screed, which needs no drying time and also suits timber floor structures.

Renovating old parquet

We sand old solid parquet back to clean wood, fill the gaps and varnish or oil it again. The floor looks new without replacing it.

Floors are often part of a complete renovation, which you can finish with a new stretch ceiling.

What we need for an offer

  • the floor area or a floor plan
  • the type of floor you want, or a photo of the existing parquet
  • what is on the floor now and whether it has to be removed
  • the location

Frequently asked questions

Does old parquet have to be replaced?

Often not. Solid parquet can be sanded and varnished again so it looks new. After a visit we tell you whether renovation is still possible.

Laminate or vinyl?

Laminate is affordable and durable in dry rooms. Vinyl is waterproof, so it also suits kitchens, bathrooms and basements.

What is a dry screed?

A base of boards laid on a levelling fill. It needs no drying time, so the floor covering can be laid straight away, which shortens the renovation.
